Germany’s MagentaTV has revealed it will base its coverage of this summer’s FIFA World Cup in both New York and Munich.

Key pundits will be located in the platform’s New York studio at One World Center, reporting live from the USA, while the broadcast centre in Ismaning/Munich will provide commentary, tactical analysis, and other services.

Viewers will be able to watch matches in UHD with Dolby Atmos, with the company committing to delivering audio description and AI-powered subtitles for all matches.

MagentaTV is planning to broadcast over 1,000 hours of coverage during the tournament, including all 104 matches during the tournament.

The FIFA World Cup takes place in Mexico, Canada and the United States, kicking off on Thursday, 11th June.
