FIA names Riedel as official comms supplier

Riedel supplies the FIA with MediorNet distributed video infrastructures; Artist digital intercom network; Bolero wireless intercom system; and a variety of specialised headsets and handheld radios

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has appointed Riedel as its official supplier of motor sports telecommunications.

Riedel supplies the FIA with MediorNet distributed video infrastructures, which combine signal transport, routing, processing, and conversion in a redundant real-time network; Artist digital intercom network; Bolero wireless intercom system; and a variety of specialised headsets and handheld radios.

Peter Bayer, FIA secretary general for sport and FIA F1 executive director, said, “The FIA’s decision to name Riedel as an official supplier of its motor sports communication is a result of a trusted relationship over two decades. It illustrates our shared commitment to use the most advanced technologies, with the safety and sustainability requirements that we have for all our championships.”
