ARRI has introduced its ARTEMIS 2 Live camera stabiliser.
Optimised for live productions such as sports and event broadcasts, ARTEMIS 2 Live aims to offer a cost-effective entry into ARRI’s range of camera stabilisers, said the company.
Its modular design provides users with options to upgrade and adapt rigs to different production requirements, including ARTEMIS 2 and TRINITY 2.
Lightweight monitor brackets have been designed for live applications, with the base mount and monitor jockeys able to accommodate a range of 7″ monitors, including Transvideo, Smart Systems, and SmallHD. A short post provides greater legroom and a second bracket supports 5″ ‘on air’ monitors.
ARTEMIS 2 is available in a number of ready to shoot sets, said ARRI, including an option that allows the stabiliser to combine with a Tiffen Volt gimbal. The solution adapts to different power sources, matching the available batteries at a location.
Components are interchangeable with ARRI’s cine-style stabilisers, with the needs of EFP workflows met with features such as Tally and LBUS, allowing hybrid lens control of both ENG and cine zoom lenses, said the company.
