Mediaproxy has appointed netorium as its partner in the DACH region.
The collaboration aims to enable the integration of Mediaproxy’s range of software-based IP compliance monitoring and multiviewing solutions into the Wiesbaden headquartered company’s production and distribution installations across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). Developing bespoke playout, storage, streaming and workflow systems for both public and private broadcasters, netorium tailors its builds to specific user needs, future-proofing systems with a range of products from its partner network.
Mediaproxy joins a number of major broadcast solution providers as a netorium partner, providing logging and analysis components with its LogServer and Monwall systems. It will also form part of the company’s IT and media services offering, which includes the Media Supply Chain and Playout and Distribution, Mobile Journalism and Remote Production Platforms.
Frank Herrmann, netorium chief executive, said, “We are focused on digital transformation to produce on-premises, in-cloud and hybrid solutions for media creators facing technological changes along their value chain. This involves a variety of technologies, including Video over IP, audio, transcoding, automation, quality management (QM), distribution and archiving. Compliance monitoring and analysis in a modern software-based format is the missing puzzle piece for hybrid linear and streaming distribution. Mediaproxy provides that and extends our portfolio with LogServer and the Monwall multiviewer. We will benefit immensely from its experience in this area to build cost-effective systems that address the increasing complexity in content distribution and logging.”
Mediaproxy chief executive Erik Otto added, “We are very confident to partner with netorium, a leader and innovator in digital broadcasting and a major player in the DACH countries as both a distributor and an integrator. Mediaproxy’s compliance and monitoring systems, LogServer and Monwall, fit in perfectly with netorium’s established partner network and we look forward to working with them and being part of forthcoming installations.”
