Media journalist Ray Snoddy talks about why he’s looking forward to IBC2017 – the 50th edition of the show. Speakers such as Facebook’s Dan Danker will undoubtedly be a highlight but the sessions on the future of news in the Content and Production Stream on Thursday 14 September are of particular appeal. The Keynote session in this stream ‘The New Architecture of News’, chaired by journalist Andrew Neil, will look at both the technology and the events driving change in this area. Expect to hear about everything from alternative facts and fake news to Donald Trump and Brexit.
