Stella Pro LED lights gain RF control

The new Stella Pro 5000 RF and Stella Pro 8000 RF lights have become the first video lights to include Elinchrom’s recently opened Skyport Protocol.

The RF lights include an integrated Skyport Transceiver, which is controlled by the EL-Remote Control; a dedicated, wireless, 2.4GHz remote designed specifically for working with continuous lights. It provides users with 20 channels and control of up to four separate groups and an infinite number of lights. Lights can be controlled at up to 60m indoors and 200m outdoors, and settings are remembered when the lights are powered off.

Completely waterproof or weather resistant, the two lights can withstand a 1m drop on concrete and are compatible with a wide range of light modifiers and mounting systems.

The integration of RF means that users can mount the rugged 5600K lights anywhere and have reliable wireless control.

The lights have built-in Li-ion rechargeable batteries that allow them to run cord free for more than six hours. For extended use, they also connect to the included power supply and support D-tap and external batteries.

The 5000 or 8000 lumen LED units have a TLCI score of 93, flicker-free design, 3-button interface for mode and menu control, dimming with continuous control, controlled focus from 120° down to 50° and 25°, and fast charge in two hours (80 per cent charged in 1.5hrs).
