RTW will demonstrate the latest version 2 software for its TouchMonitor audio meter, which includes LRA, the new loudness range measurement tool, writes Paul Watson.
Unlike the measurement of a traditional loudness bar graph, which shows loudness over a pre-defined period, LRA offers an easy-to-read, all-in-one indicator of a programme’s dynamic range and loudness.
Version 2 also features a moving coil which can emulate, for example, broadcast PPMs.
LRA will also be available in the 31900, 31960, and 11900 surround control and monitoring products.
