Innovations in channel playout are the focus of Dayang Technology Development’s IBC exhibit, including new products iChannel2 for single box automation, and compact multiviewer Fresco. iChannel2 is a single box automation system that includes functions such as multi-format ingest, automated playout and CG. It also brings several new approaches to playout security. Either 1 + 1 mirrored backup or N + M universal backup can be set up in the iChannel2 system so that playout operation can be protected. Fresco is a compact multiviewer that was recently added to Dayang’s playout system. It holds up to 20 inputs within a single 1RU chassis, and 4 HDMI and 4 HD-SDI outputs for monitoring all the signal feeds. Up to four large screens can be connected to one Fresco unit. Furthermore, multiple Fresco units can be cascaded together, providing more signal inputs for monitoring operations.
