IBC2026: Meet the speaker – Amy DeLouise, founder, #GALSNGEAR

Amy will be taking part in a panel focusing on reskilling best practices, new career pathways, and innovative mentoring roadmaps

What will you be speaking about at IBC2026?

I’ll be moderating a dynamic Talent Programme session on Sunday, September 13th on the Ignite Stage (Hall 14) focused on reskilling best practices, new career pathways, and innovative mentoring roadmaps. One of the success stories I’ll be sharing is our innovative #GALSNGEAR beta-testing initiative that puts together young talent with more experienced talent and delivers value to our industry partners.

What do you hope the audience takes away from your session?

Let’s stop wringing our hands about a broken talent pipeline, and start building creative solutions for how to engage and retain diverse talent at every career stage. Many organisations and companies have built solutions, so we’re excited to share them.

What do you view as the key technologies defining the industry at the moment?

AI and remote workflows have undeniably changed the business. But that means the so-called ‘soft’ skills are more vital than ever. Honing the ability to reskill, learning how to lead diverse teams, and navigating a constantly changing industry landscape, and building your brand outside of a single vertical—these are the skills we are focused on in our #GALSNGEAR Leadership Training programme.

Why is IBC an important date in the media tech calendar?

There’s no better place to come to play and learn together than IBC. Amsterdam has become one of my favourite destinations.

Other than your own session, which panels are you looking forward to?

I’m especially interested in sessions on Sports and the Creator Economy—these sectors are providing new opportunities for our #GALSNGEAR members.

Amy will be among the speakers at Future Shock: Are you ready? at the Ignite Stage in Hall 14 on Sunday 13th September at 1.30pm.
