IBC2025: Meet the speaker – Avi Saxena

Warner Bros Discovery's chief technology officer will be discussing how the company is harnessing AI to unlock innovation across the streaming and entertainment ecosystem

What will you be speaking about at IBC2025?

I’ll be sharing how Warner Bros Discovery is harnessing AI to unlock innovation across the streaming and entertainment ecosystem. From enhancing product features and operational workflows to improving audience engagement and internal efficiencies, we’re exploring how emerging technologies are transforming the way we build and deliver experiences.

What do you hope the audience takes away from your session?

I hope attendees leave with a clear understanding of how AI and other emerging technologies can be responsibly and creatively applied to drive meaningful change across the media and technology landscape. At WBD, we’re already utilising AI to unlock efficiencies and spark innovation across our business, and I’m excited to share how that work is progressing and shaping what’s possible. With IBC being a great forum for the industry to come together and exchange ideas and ideology, I hope we all walk away with fresh insights that ignite a spark for future developments down the road.
