Harris will introduce a new graphical user interface (GUI) to the latest version of its Landmark broadcast ad sales, traffic and billing system at IBC.
The improved GUI adds a new look and feel to the platform as well as additional functionality without losing the key features of Landmark. These include operator flexibility, instant graphical reporting and live data analytics. With the new GUI, staff can see more of this data, and be instructed when key information changes.
The media software sales platform is used to deliver airtime campaigns, and the new ‘Active Tile’ architecture enables users to extract management data instantly, with information on campaign performance, log delivery confirmation and other tasks displayed on workstation desktops in realtime.
“Landmark occupies a critical position with broadcasters’ commercial operations on every continent,” said Mike Oldham, senior vice president, global media sales, Harris Broadcast. “With this level of success comes great responsibility as the system’s developer, and we need to make sure that Landmark remains clearly differentiated from rival systems. This new user interface adds function and operability to the platform. It has been developed with our customers in mind and incorporates a great deal of direct customer feedback.”
