Eutelsat and V-Nova used IBC to announce a commercial partnership. Eutelsat is taking a “minority” stake in V-Nova and its cornerstone product, the Perseus compression solution.
Eutelsat said the collaboration will be offered to jointly-defined pre-agreed markets and clients. Eutelsat will focus on satellite video transmission to broadcasters and TV platforms and where using Perseus will aid the transition from HD to Ultra HD.
