The Thai Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is using OneBeam technology within its DVB-T2 digital terrestrial TV network, it has been revealed.
Enensys’ OneBeam optimises network capacity by combining satellite DTH delivery with T2 transmitter distribution in a single feed.
The new Thai PBS DVB-T2 network has 39 main transmitter sites throughout Thailand with additional transmitters set to be commissioned over the next 18 months.
Thai PBS CTO Kantachai Srisukhon said, “Enensys has been able to meet our requirements to combine satellite delivery to our viewers with distribution to our DVB-T2 transmitters.
The same technology also supports the regional Emergency Warning System that is provided by all of the digital TV network operators.”
