Highlighting technologies that the company believes address the current trends in the broadcast media industry, Evertz is showcasing its solutions portfolio at IBC.
Evertz is demonstrating how it is helping customers navigate the transition to IP with its Software Defined Video Networking IP-based solutions.
The company offers support for SMPTE 2110 and AMWA IS-04, MAGNUM as orchestration and control for IP facilities, its range of 25GbE products, new evEDGE FPGA accelerated compute blades and the 5700MSC-IP IP-based Grand Master Clock and Video Master Sync Generator.
Also on show is DreamCatcher, Evertz’s IP-based capture, playout, replay, edit and packaging system. New tools on the platform include DC-LIVE-EDIT, a video/audio editing tool, and DC-MG, a media gateway and content management system that the company claims unlocks the full potential of a DreamCatcher network and 8K support.
Evertz also has a big data analytics engine in the shape of inSITE, designed to provide real-time centralised operational intelligence for video broadcasters.
Being demonstrated at IBC is inSITE’s support for cloud-based solutions and Amazon Web Services environments, which Evertz claims provides customers who are moving systems to the cloud with the visibility they need to maintain high service levels.
