Delec aims to boost Dante integration

A set of task-specific tools integrating conventional audio devices into Dante networks is being introduced by Delec

A set of task-specific tools integrating conventional audio devices into Dante networks is being introduced by Delec.

The Delec unito series consists of the ultra-compact DIO (Dante Input Output) that offers a variety of interface and conversion options, while space-saving NIO offers straight conversion of Dante to analogue and digital AES3 I/O. The three NIO units offer between 8 and 16 AES and 12 or 24 analogue I/O and use RJ45 for high density, easy to use connections. The two larger NIO units also include redundant power supplies.

Delec said the unito NAM Dante networked speaker amplifiers are ideal for building paging and public address systems, providing modern day replacements for traditional 100V PA systems by using network connections and switches.

Delec claimed the unito devices are easy to configure via a web browser, and configurations may be stored, imported and exported, reducing set up time for large installations.

All the unito products include two Ethernet ports to allow redundant network infrastructure or daisy-chain wiring.
