The Smart Videohub 40x40, the newest model in Blackmagic Design’s family of mixed format routers, includes the company’s visual routing user interface and 6G-SDI technology allowing SD, HD and Ultra HD routing all on the same router at the same time.
Blackmagic’s Western regional manager for North America, Kendall Eckman (pictured), noted that this new router is aimed at both broadcasters and filmmakers. It will be available in October for $2,995.
