The non licence-based VersAtivePro aims to address the challenges associated with switching functionality from HD to SD transcoding or vice-versa, migrating from primary to redundant units or completely reconfiguring transcoders.
VersAtivePro devices can be managed through ATX’s Video Management System (VMS), which provides users with centralised, clusterable control of video services run though VersAtivePro units. The VMS provides a single UI for managing multiple units and enables the operator to implement multiple redundancy schemas, automated system backups and secure system administration to northbound management systems.
