Audio company Sennheiser will again be supplying audio technology for the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna next month.
The company is working with Italian rental company, Agorà to support host broadcaster ORF. Vienna marks the fourth time the two companies have joined forces on Eurovision, having previously worked on the event in Lisbon, Tel Aviv and Turin.
For 2026, Sennheiser will deliver its largest Spectera set-up to date, including manufacturing samples of the yet-to-be-launched handheld transmitter. A firmware variant developed especially for the event will add on-site functionalities.
“We’re excited to bring the largest deployment worldwide of Spectera Base Stations, bidirectional bodypacks and handheld mics to the ESC,” said Volker Schmitt, manager technical application engineering at Sennheiser.
“Artists and crews will benefit from the extraordinary clarity of IEMs over Spectera, and artists using a headset mic will be able to perform with just one belt pack. Like the Agorà team, our wireless experts are very much looking forward to the amazing international teamwork at the ESC.”
