Sky Deutschland has won back the exclusive broadcast rights to the English Premier League from streamer DAZN.
DAZN secured the rights for three years in December 2015. Their deal concludes at the end of the current season, with Sky taking over until 2021/22.
Sky will hold the exclusive broadcast rights Germany and Austria as well as German-language rights in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
The deal covers cable and satellite as well as IPTV, web and mobile. Subscribers to the Sky Sport package will be able to watch the live games on linear television as well as via streaming service Sky Go. Those who don’t have a Sky subscription will be able to watch games via Sky Ticket.
