ITV has announced that three opening La Liga matches will be shown live on ITV4.
The broadcaster showed games from the Spanish league at the end of last season after Eleven Sports cut short their rights agreement.
La Liga highlights will also be shown on a weekly basis throughout the season, on both ITV and ITV4.
The first fixture will take place on 16th August between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, followed by Barcelona taking on Real Betis on 25th August and Real Madrid against Villarreal on 1st September.
Negotiations between La Liga and ITV are ongoing regarding the rest of the season.
