Apple TV viewers will be able to watch two pieces of content at once with an update to tvOS.
The beta version of tvOS 13, which is expected to be released in July, enables viewers to reduce the size of any video playing in the Apple TV app to a corner of the screen and continue browsing through other content and menus, while still watching whatever video was playing,
According to 9to5Mac Reports, picture-in-picture is expected to be limited to the Apple TV app.
tvOS 13 is also likely to include a redesigned Home screen with new Top Shelf experience. Apps will be able to show videos in the background of the Home screen, allowing users to get a preview of content to watch before diving into an app.
