A+E sells Knightfall to 200+ territories

New licensing agreements signed in countries across Europe

A+E Networks has announced it has sold its drama series Knightfall to over 200+ territories around the world.

The drama series follows the Knights Templar and recently signed Mark Hamill for series two.

The company has signed new licensing agreements for HISTORY in the UK, Italy and South Korea; Euro TV (France); Deutsche Telekom (Germany); OTE Cinema 1 (Greece); Viasat World (Nordic, Russia and CEE); HBO (Poland); TVSeries (Portugal); Ren TV (Russia); HBO (Spain and Andorra); Nitro and Neox – Antena 3 (Spain).

The series also airs on HISTORY in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

In the US, the first series of Knightfall reached 25 million total viewers in Live + 7 across Total Day on HISTORY. The series is also currently the broadcast season’s number three new drama in cable among total viewers in Live +7 delivery.
