Audio tech supplier HHB Technologies celebrated its 40th year in the business with a champagne press event at BVE 2016. While happy attendees had their flutes refilled, HHB’s partner vendors presented their highlights of the show.
Genelec introduced its new 8430 monitor, which had its world premiere only weeks ago at Amsterdam’s ISE show. The 8430 claims to be the world’s first commercially-ready AoIP studio monitor. A new addition to Genelec’s Smart Active Monitor (SAM) range of products, the 8430 features several connectivity options, including an AES67 signal via the XLR-housed RJ45 connector, as well as a standard analogue signal via a balanced XLR connector.
Other companies showing off at the HHB stand were Avid, Nugen, DAD, Source Distribution, NTP Technology, and String and Tins.
