Loudness corrected and audio mastered

The new Continuous Loudness Correction Software (CLC) and an updated Version 3.0 of Masterclass plug-ins are being showcased at BVE

The new Continuous Loudness Correction Software (CLC) and an updated Version 3.0 of Masterclass plug-ins are to be showcased at BVE.

Developed and patented by Institut für Rundfunktechnik, the CLC is being offered as a plug-in or standalone software. It allows users to constantly adapt the level of audio they are working on against a given programme-loudness value, along with a definable loudness range in real-time with minimal obstacles.

The CLC software is able to handle DAW audio, live audio and files, and can be operated with the most common DAW software on Mac and PC. RTW says its customers are able to meet EBU-R128 and other global loudness standard specifications with the CLC software.

RTW’s updated Version 3.0 of Masterclass plug-ins (Mastering and Loudness tools) provides RTW meters as standard-format plug-ins for Windows and Mac OS. With the new update, the software now adheres to SAWA and TASA cinema loudness standards, and its window and instruments are modified to be freely scalable. Additionally, Mastering Tools now supports a 12th octave RTA.

Andreas Tweitmann, CEO of RTW, said, “We are excited to be a part of the HHB booth at this year’s BVE. With constant developments surrounding the audio industry, we are consistently updating our products and software to meet the ever-changing standards and focus on bringing sought-after efficiency to our customer’s workflows.”
