Wix.com has announced that it will air a new spot during the CBS broadcast of Super Bowl 50.
The web development platform appeared at the Super Bowl in 2015 after its successful #ItsThatEasy campaign, featuring five NFL players.
For its second Super Bowl appearance the company has decided to forgo the traditional client-agency route and has chosen DreamWorks Animation as the creative promotional partner for the campaign.
Wix’s internal creative team will work directly with DreamWorks Animation to develop and produce the Super Bowl spot and all other campaign creatives.
In addition to the Super Bowl commercial, the company will be launching a cross-platform campaign with made-for-web content, spots for exclusive online distribution and social media activations.
Omer Shai, Wix CMO, said, “Last year, we were Super Bowl newcomers, and in addition to the 114.5 million people who watched our ad during the game, over 300 million people worldwide engaged with our campaign online.
“Most people know that having an online presence for your business is a must, but what they don’t necessarily know is that with the right platform, the results will be stunning and the process will be fun.”
