Community Channel, the UK TV station dedicated to communities, charities and local stories, is the latest channel to launch on TVPlayer. The channel, owned and run by national charity Media Trust aims to showcase the work of charities, new independent directors and community filmmakers.
Lewis Arthur, platform manager for TVPlayer, commented, “We are committed to increasing our content offering for our users and are excited that Community Channel brings their engaging content to our platform.”

The partnership will help more people engage with our Do Something Brilliant campaign funded by Big Lottery Fund and inspire them to make a difference in their community.”
Community Channel launched its Do Something Brilliant campaign in February to celebrate talented people and organisations across the UK.
TVPlayer has received 700,000 downloads within six months of launching, and can be watched online or downloaded for free from the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
