With 13 halls and more than 1,300 exhibitors, IBC2011 was the largest ever, with lots of new products on show. Noticeable trends were the proliferation of iPads, whether as control devices or ways for viewers to access more content, many more high-speed cameras, and the spread of 3D throughout the production chain to the extent that most new 3D products were evolutionary rather than revolutionary.
Our combined TVBEurope and IBC Daily personnel give us by far the largest editorial team on the ground at IBC each year.
