IABM, strategic partner of the upcoming TVBEurope Strategy Week, has announced its UK Broadcast and Media Technology Industry Networking Drinks reception on 1 July in London. The event will offer the opportunity to connect with peers from across the broadcast, media technology and entertainment industries, at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington.
The organisation is launching its brand new IABM UK Regional Council, which aims to bring the issues of the broadcast and media technology industry to a wider audience. Alongside this, it will also be introducing its new board members.
The free Networking Drinks is open to all, and takes place during TVBEurope’s first Strategy Week, from 29 June to 3 July. The week incorporates roundtable events, breakfast briefings, webinars and the TVBEurope 2020 conference, chaired by IABM’s director of technology and strategy insight, Jon Ive (pictured).
TVBEurope 2020 is a brand new one-day conference taking place at BAFTA, London, that straddles the connected worlds of UHD, IT and IP infrastructures. There is still a chance to buy tickets for the event on 30 June, and a fixed early bird discount is available for IABM members.
TVBEurope 2020 has garnered extensive support from across the industry, with partners including Aspera, Sony, ES, Telestream and Emotion Systems. The day will open with a Breakfast Briefing in association with SNL Kagan, and will feature presentations, panel discussions, and a number of masterclasses, as well as networking opportunities throughout.
