TVBAwards 2015 nominations are now open

New awards and revamped categories will celebrate the success stories in the production, management, and delivery of media content

Nominations for the 2015TVBAwards are now open. Taking place at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom on 22 October 2015 and now in their second year, the TVBAwards were created to celebrate the many and various success stories in the media and entertainment industry by recognising those pushing the boundaries in the production, management, and delivery of today’s media content. Championing excellence, innovation, and endeavour, TVBEurope’s awards initiative offers an annual showcase of the abilities and talents of those working behind the scenes on the year’s outstanding content productions.

The categories for the 2015 TVBAwards are as follows:

Live sports broadcast
Live broadcast
Live broadcast sound

Achievement in image capture
Achievement in sound
Achievement in post production

Achievement in systems integration
Achievement in archive digitisation
Achievement in asset management

Multiplatform production and delivery
Social media integration
TV Anywhere solutions: VoD/catch up and mobile TV provision

Outstanding broadcast
Innovation and R&D award for outstanding technical achievement
Start-up/entrepreneur award
PR, marketing and communications team of the year
Sustainability award
Lifetime achievement

Voting is open to all projects/programmes completed and aired during the 12 months from 1 August, 2014 to 31 July, 2015. The one exception to this rule is the new start-up/entrepreneur award, which has a scope of three years to ensure inclusivity for recently founded companies. The lifetime achievement award is decided by our independent judging panel and is not open to public vote.
