Sunset+Vine has appointed Andrew Preece as executive director to oversee all digital, branded content, distribution and news operations within the company.
Preece, who has run the TV sports production and media company's Oxford office for the past nine years, will oversee an operation spanning Gillette World Sport and Mobil 1 The Grid, as well as extensive programming for CNN; The World Sailing Show; The Henley Royal Regatta; and The Longines Global Champions Tour.
It also manages a host of sailing programming, including the Olympic Games for the BBC and America’s Cup for BT Sport.
Jeff Foulser, chairman of Sunset+Vine, said: “Our company has grown exponentially over the past five years, winning significant contracts including becoming BT Sports production partner for English Premier League football, Aviva Premiership Rugby, European Cup Rugby and the Europa League; for ICC’s live events production services and non-live programming contracts 2016-2018; for the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and the London 2017 World Athletics Championships.
"I am delighted that Andrew will play a key role in continuing that trajectory, particularly in the commercial and digital areas.”
Preece added: “The broadcast landscape is changing rapidly and it presents us with both challenges and exciting opportunities. We have an amazingly diverse range of skills and experience in the company, as well as a strong portfolio of broadcast and commercial clients.
"I am excited to have the chance to be able to play a central role in Sunset+Vine at this pivotal time in the evolution of our business and the industry.”
