Sky Italia has made a series of new appointments within its senior management team in an effort to bolster the organisational strength of the business.
The Marketing & Sales area, which in recent years has expanded its range of action, will be reorganised into two different areas. Francesco Calosso has been appointed chief marketing officer, while Daniele Ottier, who previously led Sky Media, has been appointed chief commercial officer.
A new area is being created that will combine the activities of Sky Media and those of the Digital Hub into a single structure, the guidance of which will be entrusted to chief media, digital and data officer Giovanni Ciarlariello.
This new organisation leads to an extension of the responsibilities of Domenico Labianca who has been appointed chief operating officer. Along with the current responsibilities of finance, Labianca will now oversee those relating to operations, customer care, customer journey design and supply chain and customer experience.
Meanwhile, Brett Aumuller will assume the role of chief financial officer while Pietro Maranzana will take on the role of chief broadband officer.
