SeeSense has announced the addition of the new Meuser Optik 3.5mm (69° FOV) 1/3” prism compatible HD lens to its armoury of compatible lenses for the Toshiba IK-HD1 camera system.
The new improved optics are said to offer vastly superior resolution with lower image distortion performance to any 3-CCD 1/3” C-mount prism camera, including those from Toshiba, Iconix, Panasonic, Ikegami and Hitachi.
Meuser Optik recently announced that a new 2.8mm 81° FOV version of the above lens will be made available soon.
SeeSense director Paul Rogers revealed: “We have also developed an upgrade to the Toshiba IK-HR1S camera (SeeSense part number IK-HR1P) to allow the use of CS mega-pixel lenses. SeeSense can now offer a range of quality MP lens solutions for this camera with FOV capabilities up to 180° and with apertures down to F1.0. This greatly enhances the camera’s capability in low light as well as expanding suitability for special POV, sports, in-car and other speciality uses.”
