Rise has announced Rise Upskill, a new global training programme that aims to provide two foundational certifications in cloud computing or artificial intelligence.
Supported by Amazon Web Services, and free to Rise community members, the globally accessible online initiative will allow participants to choose between two AWS certifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is a foundational certification designed to build a baseline understanding of cloud computing within the AWS environment. It covers core cloud concepts, key AWS services, security and compliance, and pricing models. No prior technical experience is required.
- AWS Certified AI Practitioner provides a foundational certification focused on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and generative AI concepts within AWS. It is suited to professionals working with AI in business or operational roles, without requiring deep technical expertise.
Delivered through AWS Skill Builder and included in the platform’s free subscription, courses are flexible and self-paced. Study support is provided through flexible drop-in sessions with assigned study cohorts.
