Rise expands mentoring scheme into Central Europe, ANZ

Scheme is entering its fifth year in the UK, third in Singapore, and second in the United States.

Rise’s annual mentoring scheme is expanding its global footprint in 2022, reaching as far afield as Central Europe and Australia and New Zealand.

The scheme is entering its fifth year in the UK, third in Singapore, and second in the United States.

Rise mentoring is a free, six-month programme to support women working in, or aspiring to work in the broadcast media technology sector.

Past mentees have come from a variety of job roles including engineering, technical operations, sales, marketing and business development.

Applications are open to women who are working full time, part time or freelance and of any age group above the age of 18. Applications for all schemes close on 3rd April 2022.

Carrie Wootten, managing director of Rise, said: “We are excited to announce the 2022 mentoring programme and look forward to receiving the international mentee applications, especially those in North and Central Europe and ANZ for the first time. We know that the support and significant investment provided through the programme is needed to encourage and enable women to thrive and reach their potential and succeed in our industry.”
