Talk us through an average day in your role
Morning:
- Review metrics: Start the day by reviewing our OKRs and KPIs related to revenue, marketing, sales, and customer engagement/success.
- Current customers: Review our customers to identify any who need attention or a strategy to assist. Ensure that each is being taken care of.
- Strategy session: Dedicate time to assess revenue strategies by investigating market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Emails: I really try to manage emails effectively as it is crucial for productivity and organisation. But it can consume too much of my time, so I try to only do this twice a day.
Afternoon:
- Client meetings: Schedule calls or meetings with key clients to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Cross-department collaboration: Meet with other departments (like product, support, finance, and services) to ensure alignment on revenue goals and discuss initiatives that could impact revenue generation.
- Training and development: Conduct training sessions or one-on-one coaching with team members to develop their skills and improve performance.
End of day:
- Reporting: Review and prepare reports on revenue performance and present findings to the executive team during weekly or monthly reports.
- Planning for tomorrow: Set priorities for the next day based on current progress, upcoming projects, and long-term strategies.
Throughout the day, I try to balance high-level strategy with day-to-day operations, making decisions that support both immediate revenue growth and long-term business objectives. Effective communication and collaboration with various teams are crucial for customer, team, and company success.

How did you get started in the media industry?
The media industry found me. I was approached by a recruiter about Dalet. I was interested in talking to Dalet because I have always been fascinated by the media industry. As an extremely curious person, the mystery of the industry has always intrigued me. How stories are discovered, created, and produced, I have wanted to learn and understand since I was a young girl.
My love for the media developed while growing up in California when our prior Governor, Ronald Reagan, was running for President. I remember being worried about the Cold War and learning from the reporters who brought the stories to our living rooms. Being raised by a single mother with four young girls, the news was our only way to learn about other cities, states, and an entire world that I never dreamed I would be able to see firsthand.
What training did you have before entering the industry?
I have been in high-tech for over 25 years. Working with some of the latest technologies and helping customers to achieve goals has been the best learning experience.
Why do you enjoy working in the industry?
I believe that storytelling, in every form, is the most compelling way to reach and connect people. This impact on the world is like nothing else.
What piece of advice would you offer someone looking to explore a role similar to yours?
- You are NOT selling. You are HELPING people. Don’t get these two things confused.
- You must believe in the tools that you offer to your customers. This is HOW you help them.
- Always be honest and transparent.
- Nothing bad ever comes from good hard work.
