Former NFL technical operations manager John Raidel is joining Vizrt as the company’s global lead for its live production in the cloud offering.
He will work alongside Vizrt’s product development and customer success teams on what the company describes as a number of initiatives, including advancing Vizrt’s capabilities in sports, creating a Viz Technical Director Academy, establishing a new Vizrt Centre of Excellence to expand product offerings, training, and certification options for customers. Vizrt said it will announce further details on all of these plans soon.
Raidel’s background also includes a stint as the technical director at the NBA.
