Jeff Rosica officially departs Avid today (10th June) after 11 years with the company.
He announced plans to retire from the company in November last year.
Rosica first joined Avid in 2013 as SVP, worldwide field operations before becoming president in December 2016. He was appointed CEO in February 2018.
Writing on LinkedIn, Rosica described his time at Avid as “an incredible journey”.
“Being the CEO of such an iconic company and steward of an amazing brand has been an honour, a pleasure and has surely been the pinnacle of my career! I leave Avid with incredible gratitude and tremendous pride—and high expectations for a terrific future for the company,” he added.
He also thanked Avid’s customers and users for “putting your faith” in the company, adding: “It has been tremendous to have your confidence, but also to get your continuous input and ideas to help shape the company and its direction.
“I also owe a debt of gratitude to all the wonderful Avid partners around the world that work hard every day to take care of our mutual customers and users. Avid’s business and success would not be possible without your strategic partnership and valuable efforts.”
In April, Avid announced the appointment of Wellford Dillard as Rosica’s successor.
