Dirty Looks has announced the appointment of Jack Jones as head of imaging and technical solutions.
Joining the London-based independent post production company, Jones brings more than 15 years of experience in a career which has seen him work as a colourist on Adele’s music promos and the Netflix feature documentary, 14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible.
As former co-owner of full-service post production facility, Roundtable Post, Jones oversaw pipeline development and remote workflows at the company.

Jones will lead on colour science, custom tools (for both in-house teams and clients), workflow automation and deep integration of IT systems. Following Dirty Looks’ recent expansion and relocation to Fitzrovia’s Maple Place, the appointment aims to bolster the company’s position as a provider of tailored technical solutions and personalised services.
His remit will include helping the Dirty Looks achieve its transition to using a full heat-recapture system, which is being developed with Deep Green and enables heat from servers to be transferred to community heating projects, in line with its mission to be a leader in sustainable post production.
Commenting on his appointment, Jones said, “I’m thrilled to join Dirty Looks as we begin this new chapter at Maple Place. My background in both the technical and creative sides of post-production mean I can help shape a more adaptive and agile system, and I’m absolutely passionate about following our mission to become the most sustainable post production company out there!”
Tom Balkwill, managing director of Dirty Looks, added: “Dirty Looks’ greatest strength is our team and to grow, we need to onboard the right people at the right time, and Jack is a top-notch addition to the team. Jack is deeply rooted in independent film, just like Dirty Looks, and I am thrilled he is joining us to help lead the next phase of our strategic development.”
