Gravity Media appoints Chris Cannon to lead engineering operations across EMEA

He joins the company from NEP where he oversaw UK operations on the 2020 Euros, Sky Sports Premier League, Champions League, Wimbledon, Love Island and The Circle

Charis Cannon, previously director of technical operations at NEP, has joined Gravity Media as the company’s new director – operations, EMEA.

He joins the company’s senior leadership team as it looks to bolster its EMEA market offering.

At NEP, Cannon oversaw UK operations on the 2020 Euros, Sky Sports Premier League, Champions League, Wimbledon, Love Island and The Circle.

In his new role at Gravity, Cannon will be a strategic leader with accountability for the performance of the business assets, logistics, engineering operations and production management teams across the EMEA regions of the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain and the Middle East.

Speaking of Cannon’s appointment, Ed Tischler, managing director, EMEA said: “I have known Chris for many years and his appointment is a huge win for Gravity Media.
