Chris Bailey appointed head of innovation at Jigsaw24 Media

His new responsibilities also include researching and exploring new forward-looking solutions and managed services for Jigsaw24 Media clients

Jigsaw24 Media has promoted Chris Bailey to the new role of head of innovation, where he will be responsible for researching, testing and proposing new products and solutions to enhance the company’s portfolio.

Bailey joined Root 6 as a production runner in 2000 and has worked his way up the engineering ranks over the last 22 years. He was responsible for a large team of engineers as the customer support manager when Root 6 was acquired by Jigsaw24 in 2017.

In his new role, Bailey will report to Jigsaw24 Media’s head of technical infrastructure, Graham McGuinness.

His new responsibilities also include researching and exploring new forward-looking solutions and managed services for Jigsaw24 Media clients as well as owning the business unit’s public cloud strategy for both on-prem and hosted solutions.

“Our role as a systems integrator relies increasingly on our ability to design innovative solutions for an ever-changing media landscape,” said Jigsaw24 Media business director, Jason Cowan.  “While Jigsaw24 Media is fortunate to have renowned industry specialists on our team – like Graham McGuiness as head of technical infrastructure and Neal Kemsley as solution architect – this new position will further enhance our capabilities in this area. Chris brings years of technical experience to the role and is trusted and respected by both our clients and fellow staff members – he was a natural choice for the job.”
