The roadshows will have an Olympic theme (as Panasonic are the official broadcast provider to the Olympics), and it will show its AK-HC3500 multi-format studio camera, which has three 2/3-inch 2.2 megapixel IT CCDs, for the first time in the UK.

Also on show will be the HDC-Z10000 compact twin-lens 2D/3D camcorder with autostereoscopic viewfinder; the new P2 model AG-HPX250, the first 10-bit hand-held model to use the AVC-Intra 100 codec; the AG-AC130 and AG-AC160 AVCCAM camcorders; and the AG-3DP1 P2 HD 3D camcorder (pictured), which will be used for the first live 3D Olympic Games next Summer to help produce 200+ hours of 3D footage.

“Our roadshows will be a fantastic opportunity for customers, press and dealers to see our latest products and see how Panasonic really does lead in technology innovation and provide the very best products in the broadcast and display industry,” said Nigel Wilkes, Panasonic UK and Ireland’s Sales Manager.
