There is still time to enter nominations for the first TVBAwards, to be held at a ceremony this October at the Hilton London Wembley. Three Awards are up for grabs within the Workflow category, celebrating Achievement in Sound, Achievement in Systems Integration, and Achievement in Post Production.
Other Award categories cover Capture and Delivery, with a fourth category of Special Awards honouring Lifetime Achievement, Sustainability, Marketing Campaign and Outstanding Broadcast.
TVBEurope’s inaugural event, held in partnership with TV Technology Europe will present 13 Awards to honour excellence in the broadcasting industry, and nominations can be entered by anyone working in the industry. Any project which took place between 1 June 2013 and 8 August can be entered via the Awards website.
In the Workflow category, a company or companies can be nominated for Achievement in Sound, with the winner being responsible for outstanding and innovative use of audio (including recording, editing and mixing) in a live or recorded TV programme.
Achievement in Systems Integration will be a company responsible for building an outstanding infrastructure or workflow in support of a TV broadcast.
Finally, nominations are open for Achievement in Post Production, which will be presented to a company or companies performing outstanding and innovative work in the post production workflow (including editing, grading, versioning) of a TV programme or series.
Nominations can be entered via the TVBAwards website, and will close at midnight Friday 8 August.
