Immedia is launching a new audio and visual streaming platform which it says will allow brands to become “de facto media owners” in the digital entertainment space.
DreamStream X’s functionality includes high quality music streaming, interactive video content, purchasing and live information streams.
The platform is described as the first of its kind to allow brands to combine live audio and visual streaming through its own in-house entertainment platform direct to customer’s mobile phones.
It works by streaming live broadcasts from Immedia’s studios onto an app integrated within a brand’s platform and delivered to customer’s mobile phones. The app is able share music, video, offers and events as well as allow customers to post comments around upcoming trends.
The platform extends brand communications to ‘out of store’ audiences, which Immedia says makes brands de facto media owners.
