It has been announced today that Consolidated Media Industries (CMI) will be acquired by NEP Group Inc after an agreement was reached between the two parties.
The entities have entered into an agreement that will bring CMI, a leading European provider of video technology and outsourced production solutions, into NEP’s worldwide network.
Michiel van Duijvendijk, CEO of CMI, said, “We are excited to become part of NEP’s growing worldwide network of brands. Their global presence will give us a great opportunity to deliver the broad variety of unique workflow solutions that CMI has developed over the years.”
CMI operates the DutchView and Infostrada Creative Technology brands, and is a leading provider of solutions for remote production and studio production in northern Europe. The acquisition bolsters NEP’s northern European footprint, with the company now offering more than 120 high definition mobile units, HD flypacks, satellite uplink trucks, smaller camera systems, and other audio visual packages.
The CMI brands will continue to operate independently under their current management teams.
