Milk acquires Lola Post Production

Lola's credits in 2022 include Dangerous Liaisons (Starz/Lionsgate) and Dinosaurs: The Final Day with David Attenborough (BBC)

London-based VFX studio Milk has announced the acquisition of BAFTA Award-winning visual effects company Lola Post Production.

Lola’s credits in 2022 include Dangerous Liaisons (Starz/Lionsgate) and DinosaursThe Final Day with David Attenborough (BBC).

Together, the two companies will have over 300 members of staff, which Milk describes as a “significant creative platform with the ability to create a full range of innovative visual effects for the premium film and television markets”.

Lola’s founder and creative director Rob Harvey will continue to lead the team as creative director and VFX supervisor and will work closely alongside Milk’s board and senior leadership team.

Speaking about the acquisition, Harvey said: “We’re excited to join forces with Milk – it’s a great fit. I have known the senior team there for many years and through collaborations on a few projects. We’ve found that we share similar approaches to visual effects work.

“We have just had our most successful year ever, so this partnership is the right next step for us as we look to expand to handle more ambitious projects. Not only will we share an increased technical capability, but the acquisition presents exciting career opportunities for our talented artists and producers.”
