Day One of the inaugural MediaTech 360 Summit (7th June) will focus on The IP Roadmap with a series of discussions, case studies and masterclasses.
Chaired by industry expert Simon Frost (pictured), the day kicks off with a look at The State of the Market.
Mike Cronk, chairman of the board at AIMS, will provide an update on how collaborative initiatives are accelerating the drive for IP interoperability. Cronk will also take part in the panel discussion – IP, Standards and Industry Collaboration – which will discuss, among other things, future governance.
Other key highlights of Day One include a Live IP case study with Michael De Wolf from DWESAM Engineering. The case study will look at the very first built and operated full IP based Live TV production studio. Phil Myers from Snell Advanced Media will host a Masterclass to discuss recent IP case studies and share key lessons learnt to date and insights from both studio as well as OB truck deployments.
One of the key panel discussions on Day One will see Martin Goswami from ITV, M&C Saatchi’s Ellie Reed and Fabien Allègre from Paris St. Germain debating the growth of eSports and broadcasting.
Day One of the MediaTech 360 Summit also includes the TVBAwards celebrating the many and various success stories in the industry. The Awards recognise and reward those pushing the boundaries in the production, management, and delivery of today’s media content.
