The Media Production Show delivered what it called a ‘successful’ debut last week as it looks to ‘firmly establish’ itself as the leading UK event for the production and post production community.

The inaugural two-day event, which drew to a close at the Business Design Centre on Friday, will return for a second annual show on 13-14 June next year, moving to the Olympia Conference Centre in London.

Sponsored by a range of significant industry players including SAM, NewTek and Blackmagic, the Media Production Show hosted over 135 exhibitors covering production services, equipment, post production tools and content distribution platforms, offering over 60 free seminars throughout the two days.

The keynote theatre offered in-depth reviews of Direct an award winning drama’ and a lively debate around ‘Successful Women in TV and Film’

The show also offered a range of speakers including Richard Davidson-Houston, head of All 4 and digital content at Channel 4, the National Theatre’s Emma Keith and Suffragette location manager Harriet Lawrence.
