Kramer expands presence in Denmark

Having been in partnership with Videoinform for over 25 years, Kramer will take over distribution in Denmark and open a new branch office in an effort to expand its presence in the country.

Having been in partnership with Videoinform for over 25 years, Kramer will take over distribution in Denmark and open a new branch office in an effort to expand its presence in the country. The move will go into effect on 1 May.

The Videoinform team will work in Kramer’s new Denmark branch office and will provide sales engineering, customer support and training services to the Danish professional AV, presentation and IT industries. Kramer Denmark will be managed by Joakim Elm, Kramer Sweden’s managing director.

“Intensive Kramer education and technical training is one of our keys to success in Sweden, and we intend to implement the same strategy with our Danish customers,” said Elm.

Kramer Sweden is the central hub for Sweden, Finland and Denmark, which make up a combined team of 20 people who provide sales, education, technical, and logistical support. Flemming Rathsach, who has led Kramer business at Videoinform, will be joining the Kramer team in Denmark as senior account manager.

“It has been a great pleasure and very instructive to work with Dr Kramer these past 25 years,” said Flemming Rathsach, owner of Videoinform. “Personally, I am looking forward to working on a larger team where we can exchange ideas and experiences,” he added. “I am convinced that not only will it be a pleasure for us to be a part of Kramer Sweden, but our customers will also benefit significantly.”

Also joining the Danish office from Videoinform are Michael Hedegaard as account manager and Thomas Pasztor as technical support manager.

“We are very excited to continue the exceptional sales, service and support Flemming Rathsach and his dedicated team at Videoinform have provided the Danish market on behalf of Kramer,” said Elm.
