Scientific Atlanta HD MPEG-2 encoders have been selected by the EBU to deliver HD programming of sports events to a variety of service providers and broadcasters across Europe.
Continuing its commitment to the HD transition, AMP France selected Chyron’s flagship graphics system, the Duet HyperX, to provide high-quality graphics for a number of events including sports and opera. The Duet HyperX features up to two software-switchable HD/SD channels, either one of which may integrate a compressed HD/SD clip player.

This announcement further strengthens Chyron’s dedication to the French market following the opening of the company’s French office in Paris. Chyron will soon be announcing key personnel at Chyron France as well as further major sales in the region.
