IBC2024 opens for registration and announces new AI tech zone

This year's show features an expanded venue including a new AI tech Zone and a second Content Everywhere area

IBC2024 has announced registration for this year’s event has opened with booked exhibitor space already surpassing 2023’s total.

Organisers said several companies will be returning for the first time since 2019 and 100 exhibitors will be making their IBC debut at the September event.

This year’s show features an expanded venue including Hall 14, which will house a new AI tech Zone and a second Content Everywhere area.

Speakers lined up for the three-day IBC conference include: Kasia Jablonska, director of digital and on-demand, BBC Studios; Israel Esteban, CTO of beIN MEDIA GROUP; Laura Florence, SVP global FAST Channels, Fremantle; Paramount Global’s executive vice president and global CTO, Phil Wiser and David Bouchier, chief TV and entertainment officer at Virgin Media O2.

IBC2024 runs from 13th-16th September.
